There are numerous factors that affect your build in Arcane Lineage, but one I found to be crucial was your race. This affects what abilities you get, your passives, and your character's stats. There are numerous classes you can get, each with different perks. When starting my character, I received the Stultus race, but I wondered what else there was.

All Races in Arcane Lineage
When you spawn into Arcane Lineage, you will be randomly assigned a race. Each race has a different percentage of being assigned. You can purchase a new slot with a different race for 200 Robux. Estella - 23%
- Racial Ability: When under 25% of your maximum hp, damage increases. Unlocks a damage reduction ability at level X.

Stultus - 18%
- Racial Ability: Focus Step (1): A skill that increases speed for three turns, unlocks at level 10. Increased Speed: Gain a small speed modifier.

Drauga - 8%
- Racial Ability: Receives lifesteal on critical attacks. When killing an enemy the player gets a small buff to stats for the rest of the battle

Vastayan - 8%
- Racial Ability: You get the ability to summon a spirit at level 5 that scales with arcane, with the summoned having 15 hp and you are able to control it during its turn, which means you have 2 turns, the 1st move of the spirit costs no energy but the other moves cost 2 energy and have an AOE effect, and does more damage than the 1st move but has a cooldown of 6 turns, while the 1st move has no cooldown.

- Racial Ability: Ghostflame: Throw a ball of fire at your opponent from your head. Deals low ranged damage and applies ghostflame (5% damage burn for three turns). Lifeless Skull: fire a projectile at the enemy that does high damage and has a chance to apply ghostflame,Unlocks at level 30.
