JOB UPDATE: I am THRILLED that I’m finally able to announce that beginning next Monday, I’m going back to WIFR - TV in Rockford, IL taking on the role of Weekend Meteorologist! As the top-rated station in that market, most of you also know this is where I interned last summer! I couldn’t be more excited to go back and work with the best people around, most who I’ve known for over a year now. After a nice summer off, I’m looking forward to getting back forecasting, making graphics/weather stories, while also learning how to report/edit news stories for the MMJ component of the job. I’m also happy that I’m staying very close to home, my family, and friends. It also helps that I will be in a market that I have some familiarity with already. Thank you all for following my journey and my job searching process. I can’t wait to start this new chapter of my life and get my foot in the door. It'll be different without you Andrew Stutzke but I'm honored to be succeeding you. See you all soon on 23 News!

ONE YEAR! Yesterday, I hit my one year at FOX59/CBS4 in Indianapolis. I wasn’t at work so snapped a makeshift pic from the golf course 😂Being out of TV for a bit before this opportunity, I knew it was something good and something worth getting back into the biz for. It’s been a great year! I’m thankful for my co-workers, especially my weekend and weather crews along with my friends in Indy who have made this new stage of life so special and fun. 😊Thank you again to Nexstar Media Group, Inc. and CJ Hoyt for the opportunity! Cheers to more good times ahead. 📺

Thanks to our weather and sales teams at FOX59, we have a great partnership with the Indianapolis Indians! The graphic is also correct, the weather is perfect for baseball at Victory Field this weekend. ⚾️ Nexstar Media Group, Inc. #NexstarNation #WeatherAuthority #FOX59 #Indianapolis

RACE DAY WEATHER HISTORY! 🏁🏁 It's my first Indy 500 since moving to Indianapolis last year and the energy around here is unmatched. A fun part of my job is being able to go back in weather history and talk about it. It's even more important this year with showers and storms forecast on #RaceDay Sunday. Check out my latest piece on FOX59 regarding Race Day weather, postponements and the 20th anniversary of the 'Race Day Tornadoes' in 2004. https://lnkd.in/gMTPXbEG Nexstar Media Group, Inc.

ONE MONTH AWAY! In 30 days, a total solar eclipse will occur across our skies. It's a big deal across Central Indiana because most of our hometowns are in the "Path of Totality." On February 8, I did a piece about the climatology on April 8th and its associated CLOUD cover. With April being a transition month itself, April 8th cloud cover historically is almost a 50/50 split. In El Niño years (like 2024), it leads to a bit more cloud cover on average in that timeframe. 🙄 Watch my piece below and feel free to leave any feedback in the comments. Fingers crossed for a CLEAR and QUIET day! 🤞

CHECK THIS OUT! While it may be November 1, have you noticed your trees still having green leaves on them? If so, you aren't alone on that. Watch my latest package here!

Since 23 News First at 4 launched in September, I don’t report as much as I used to. However I still am at the helm of our “Comeback Kids” series. While I can’t take credit for coming up with the idea, it’s been so fun doing the stories in that series. Check out my latest one, as Rockford’s oldest restaurant has some new light, even in a global pandemic. 🍽🍴🍔

Hi everyone! I don't usually post on LinkedIn as much as I should. But I wanted to share my latest weather package, my first one since the end of February! The National Weather Service is asking for the publics opinion on potentially getting rid of weather 'advisories,' citing public confusion. What would replace those? Read below and find out!
