Bunny Dango is a specialty that Kamura Village is known for, providing Health and Stamina boosts during hunts when eaten. They also have a chance to provide special effects based on their associated skills so you should definitely make use of the Canteen!
There is also a Canteen in the Gathering Hub so you don't need to jump back and forth if you decide to do multiplayer instead.
This time around, even if you forgot to eat at the Canteen, you can head into your camp to eat. However, you won't be able to renew one-time skill effects.
Every time you eat a Dango you will receive a boost to your Health and Stamina. In previous games, all experienced hunters would take advantage of food, so don't forget to eat!
In Monster Hunter Rise, you can choose Three (3) Dangos from the list for a chance to have their corresponding skill activate for your next quest. The Activation Rate for each skill is different so choose which you want the most.
The 3 Dangos you choose can be saved as a set. So that if you want to use it again, simply select Order the Usual and pick it from the list.
Make use of this feature to save specific combinations you like. You can save 32 combinations of Dango sets in this feature.
Instead of Meal Vouchers like in Monster Hunter World, you can receive Dango Ticket. Using a Dango Ticket will boost the Activation Rate of all skills by 40%, and with the lowest rate being at 50%, you should get all 3 skills easily.
Dango Tickets can be obtained by making use of the Motley Mix option at the Canteen.
Hopping Skewers are a new feature in the Sunbreak expansion. This lets you modify the effects of the Dango Skills that you can get upon eating them, although having a low chance of activating the skills as a tradeoff.
Hopping Skewers will be accessible in your Canteen after you have reached the Elgado Outpost.
Opting to get Hopping Skewers when ordering your Dango will change its skill level and activation chance depending on the order you chose them.
You can use your Dango Tickets to clear the Activation Chance reduction when using Hopping Skewers. This will remove the tradeoff and let you almost always net all of the Dango Skills in your chosen Dango!
